Part-time work
One of Equilibria’s main goals is to teach young people stand on their own two feet. In order to help students cultivate independence and to learn important life skills such as responsibility, self-discipline and time management, they will be encouraged to find part-time work for some afternoons or evenings.
Part-time work also helps students to earn some pocket money. The money can be used for necessities or can contribute towards funding the European tour, scheduled for the end of the year.
Equilibria’s Au pair Agency: Equilibria hosts an Au pair Agency that makes it easy for students to find au pair work. Students who are interested to do au pair work will be required to fill in an Application for Au Pair Work, indicating their work preferences (such as younger or older kids) and their strongest school subjects. The agency will attempt to arrange au pair work for applicants that suit their preferences and abilities best. Au pair work can be done by male and female students. Students who own a car usually work as ‘au pair drivers’, driving kids to extra-mural activities.
